Quail Drive No. 2 is an absolutely stunning home complete with dozens of personal touches added by our owners that truly make this house a home. Filled with natural light with an intricate pergola in the backyard, Quail Drive No. 2 is a gorgeous project that we at Holliday Group are incredibly proud of.
The Challenge
During a high-end custom residential build in Lakewood Ranch, the homeowner requested a fully integrated smart lighting and automation system halfway through construction, the original plans didn’t account for the added circuitry and low-voltage infrastructure. This caused potential conflicts between framing, insulation, and wiring runs, risking both code compliance and design intent.
The Strategy
Holliday Group tapped a trusted vendor Sarasota Electrical to design the system from scratch coordinating with the interior designer to to ensure all lighting design elements were properly incorporated.
- Used 3D BIM coordination to reroute conduit paths and prevent clashes with HVAC ductwork.
- Installed structured wiring panels and smart dimming zones that allowed seamless integration with the client’s preferred automation system.
The project stayed on schedule, avoided rework, and delivered a clean, high-performance Smart Lighting system that exceeded client expectations.
