We at Holliday Group not only help support Selah Freedom, but we also are honored to have built three new buildings for resident living. This incredibly organization uses these buildings to teach life skills to those who have been the victims of sexual abuse and trafficking.
The Challenge
Complex permitting and compliance requirements for energy efficiency, fire protection, and accessibility can delay approvals and increase costs.
The Strategy
- Early Collaboration: Engage local building officials, architects, and engineers early in the design phase to preempt regulatory issues.
- BIM (Building Information Modeling): Use BIM to simulate code compliance, identify conflicts (e.g., HVAC vs. sprinkler layouts), and streamline design reviews.
Dedicated Compliance Manager: Assign a team member to track permit timelines, inspection milestones, and documentation for accountability.
